It’s difficult not to use paradoxes when describing Symara A. Templeman. She’s a Caribbean and Portuguese-bred British babe for starters. Even though her bald head and fit frame may be familiar per her modeling stints, the statuesque stunner isn’t a household name despite the fact that she’s appeared in some of the world’s biggest blockbusters. That’s right, apparently Symara has graced the big screen in World War Z (2013) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). Unfortunately, she didn’t receive credit for either. The same can be said of her nameless appearances in the big budget flicks Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and Jupiter Ascending (2015). In fact, these pics don’t even pop up on her resumé which includes two miniseries (Neil Gaiman’s Likely Stories, Yemoja: Rise of the Orisha) and short films such as Darkness (2014) and 2020’s SHE (Shared Human Experience). Yes, Ms. Templeman’s experience is growing in spite of the Lilliputian inferences of “short” films and “mini”series. Most recently, the ebony ingénue gave a priceless performance on the crime show Pennyworth (2021). Yet Mr. Skin was more impressed with her revealing role in the science fiction hit Ex Machina (2014). Alex Garland’s futuristic thriller features Alicia Vikander, Oscar Isaac, and Symara’s three Bs! Like her naked co-stars Claire Selby, Sonoya Mizuno, and Elina Alminas, the built bombshell goes full frontal during a robotic revolt scene. But as an ironic twist of fate, her head is replaced with a metal skull. Paradoxically, we can see all of Symara except her face!
